Sponsor a Wild Ambassador
A Special Gift
The Center for Wildlife's
popular
Sponsor A Wild Ambassador Program offers a unique opportunity to bring a wild
animal into your life or that of a friend or relative. You can sponsor
the care of one of our special non-releasable raptors, reptiles or mammals that reside permanently at the Center for Wildlife.
Our ambassadors live in large outdoor habitats that accomodate their needs, and travel to schools, libraries, senior centers, and other places in the community as ambassadors for their species. Our inspiring friends also serve as foster parents to wild young of their species, showing them the ropes so that they can return successfully to the wild knowing who they are and how to survive. Through your support, these beautiful animals will continue
to be the bridge that connects the community to a world that is usually seen
from a distance.
How does the adoption work?
Sponsors receive a beautiful card including a certificate naming them as the
sponsor of the animal, a stunning photograph of the species, their physical
description, information on living habits, and the story of how the animal came
to be living and working at CFW. Your sponsorship pays for the food, habitat and facilities maintanence, and staff time required to provide sanctuary and care to these magnificent creatures. Below you will find pictures
of the birds, mammals and reptiles that are available for "adoption." You can click on the "Buy Now" button to purchase an adoption through paypal, or if you prefer, please email us directly at donations@yorkcenterforwildlife.org to speak with a staff or to purchase an adoption.
Each adoption has a $25 sponsorship fee, please select the number of adoptions you would like to sponsor, then click on "Buy Now". You will receive your adoption information within a week! Thank you for helping us care for such amazing wildlife.
